Friday prayers held at Red Mosque

They're ba-a-a-ck!

Thousands of madrassa students wearing Red baloch caps attended Friday prayers at Islamabad's militant Lal Masjid (Red Mosque). The caps were the hallmark of its radical imam Abdul Rashid Ghazi (photo) who died when commandos stormed the mosque compound in July. He was the public face of the radical pro-Taliban mosque.

Remember the Paki Supremes ordering those responsible for deaths during the operation to be tried for murder? It looks like their will be a "review petition filed against the decision. Whatever that means...

The Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the adminstration in Islamabad to rebuild the Jamia Hafsa within a year. The court also ruled that action had to taken against those responsible for the deaths during the operation. The attorney general of Pakistan retired Justice Malik Abdul Qayyum stated that Supreme Court has exceeded its limit in the judgement and the government would file a review petition against the decision.

And this just in...General Musharraf wins Presidential vote.
