Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, protesting against his detention, emergency and arrest of his party workers, observed a hunger strike on Friday in Dera Ghazi Khan jail, sources revealed to The Post.The jail administration tried its best to make him eat but in vain, the sources said. However, he (Imran) agreed to take juice and water some time later, they added. According to reports, Imran was transported to Dear Ghazi Khan jail in a police truck after 14 hours of tedious journey.The PTI chief was treated as a dangerous criminal and no one was allowed to meet him, sources said. On his arrival, two doctors, one from the jail admin and other from DG Khan, examined him and issued a fitness certificate.
