Afghanistan: Taliban commander nabbed - for the third time.

Let's hope the third time's a charm. He's "escaped" from Afghan custody twice already.

The senior Taliban commander Mullah Naqibullah, has been arrested by the police in southern Afghanistan following clashes which killed three insurgents. Local police sources said that said that a group of Taliban militants led by Naqibullah attacked a police patrol in a village 12 kilometres north of Laskar Gah, the capital of the southern province of Helmand.

Three Taliban fighters were killed in the clashes that followed and others were injured, including Naqibullah who was then also arrested.

This is the third time that Naqibullah has been arrested. He escaped from prison twice before when he was in the custody of the Afghan government
