Yemen: Human Rights commissioner shot dead

Gunmen believed to be members of the Religion of Peace.

Gunmen in Yemen believed to be Islamic extremists have shot and wounded the head of the country's parliamentary human rights commission according to a report Friday on an Arab news portal. Yhya al-Hibari was travelling in a car in the centre of the capital Sanaa on Thursday when he came under fire, the Moheet portal reported. His chaffeur was also hit and was taken to a hospital where his condition was described as serious, the report said.

And in other Human Rights news, the FARS news agency is reporting that the Iranian ambassador to Geneva is concerned about Israeli human rights violations...

He's kidding, right?
