Trouble in Arab League paradise

Syria is hosting for the first time. Lebanon is boycotting the whole magilla and Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt have snubbed their hosts by sending low level representatives. To further complicate matters, Iraq's al-Maliki has begged off because of the Basra fighting. Add Yemen to the list - they've sent their VP.

I'm sure there's seething of one sort or another going on.
